Cool and Confusing Logo's

Here are some logo's I LOVE and some that need some help:

Cheer Athletics (All-star cheerleading team from Dallas, Texas)
I was an all-star cheerleader in my teens and I've seen hundreds of cheer company's logos. This by far is the best one. These are their team colors so it works perfectly. Each of their teams is named after a cat in the wild, so the fact that they were able to make a paw print incorporating their company's initials is not only super cool, but unique. This logo makes me feel that this company is a big deal and that their teams are top notch.

This logo is for the TOMS Shoes company which donates a pair of shoes for every pair of shoes that is purchased. I think that this logo really works for the company. It's simple and I think that's what you need for a company that is based off of giving to those in need. The color scheme works very well. The light colors give off a positive vibe and can be targeted at any age group. It targets both males and females because baby blue and white are pretty neutral colors.

I honestly don't understand this logo. I'm a huge fan of Starbucks and I've become desensitized to it, but when I first saw it I thought it was dumb. What  does a mermaid have to do with coffee? I am a fan of the color scheme though, it works with the product. People usually get coffee to get some energy and the last thing I would want to see in the morning when I am still half asleep is super bright colors.  Every time I see a logo with green, black, and white I'll automatically think of Starbucks. I believe the logo targets teenagers to adults. I don't think it targets kids because they would be confused by the mermaid and they tend to not drink coffee.

The Family Guy logo seems very appropriate for the show. The letters are big and fun just like Peter Griffen. The tv icon added onto the "i" makes me feel like I should watch this television show. The color blue is simple and not too obnoxious so it draws you in. Without knowing about the show, I would say it targets all ages, but we all know that little kids shouldn't watch it. It might be more targeted towards men because of the color blue and the title makes it seem like it's based off of one guy.

The Hello Kitty logo seems to target little girls to young women. However, I am not a fan of it. I think the logo is very childish and that it's meant for little kids. It works well for little girls because it's a cute cartoon-looking kitty and it wears a bow. The font is also playful and girly and as well as the color of the bow. I think it makes the buyer of this product say "aww" because it is just a simple, adorable logo.

That's about it. It was quite hard for me to not be biased towards many logos I searched for. The fact that I see them so often tends to not have much of an effect on me anymore.
